Regular application forms are available at most School Guidance Offices, Universities, Colleges and Technical Schools. Please ensure you have the current form (December 2015 or the printable web form) otherwise it will be returned for resubmission on the current form.
E-Mailed, Scanned, Faxed, Photocopied or separation of the original form will not be accepted and must include all required attachments and certifications. EITHER application will be accepted commencing September 1, 2018.

- Ex-Servicemen or currently serving members of The Canadian Forces (Regular, Reserve and Merchant Navy) and their children and grandchildren. Commonwealth war veterans and their children and grandchildren
- Ordinary and Life members of the Royal Canadian Legion & their children & grandchildren.
- Associate members of the Royal Canadian Legion and their children.
- Ladies’ Auxiliary members and their children and grandchildren.
- Step children and step grandchildren may be considered where applicable
Re: Section B:
This section is NOT applicable to current Legion members. Please see Section C.
This section is applicable only to Ex-Servicemen (living or deceased) or currently serving members of The Canadian Forces (Regular, Reserve and Merchant Navy) and their children and grandchildren and Commonwealth war veterans and their children and grandchildren, who are not Legion members.
A photocopy of the veteran’s discharge certificate or record of service must be attached to either application.
Proof of Service for veterans presently serving a copy of their NDI 20 card would be acceptable

Proof of relationship to veteran is also required.
